Abstract
In this article it is described that the results of theoretical and experimental reserch on finding the optimal scheme of a cultivator for tillage in vineyards, providing high-quality tillage with minimal energy consumption. The basic parameters of the machine and working bodies are substantiated. Analyzing and comparing the average indicators of traction resistance depending on the speed when cultivating inter-bush strips and row spacing, as well as cultivating only row spacing when working on heavy soils, we will determine with sufficient accuracy their difference for the actual values of the lateral universal working bodies of the UK-3 machine. The values of traction resistance for two working bodies operating in adjacent rows of inter-bush strips of vineyards, at the corresponding speeds of 1.45; 1.55; 1.75 and 1.95 m/s will be 0.25; 0.50; 0.65 and 1.20 kN. Thus, the results of the energy assessment of the traction resistance of the side rotary working bodies in contact with the root stem of the vineyard bushes give reason to consider the optimal speed of movement in the range of 1.48-1.60 m/s in order to avoid damage to the root system of the vineyards.
